During the school year the Boys & Girls Club is open for ite members (ages 6-12) from the moment the school bell rings until 7:00pm. The Club staff pick up members from nine local elementary schools and still more members get dropped off every day. While at the Club, members work on home work, eat a snack and enjoy recreation.
During the summer, the Boys & Girls Club is open all day from 7:00am to 5:30pm (M-F). Members enjoy recreational games and sports but also benefit from drug-prevention, nutrition, character development and vocational classes/activities as well as Vacation Bible School, field-trips and special speakers and presentations.
The Boys & Girls Club offers three large organized sports programs (football, basketball & soccer) where members not only learn the fundamentals and skills needed to play the game but also learn perseverance, team-work and responsibility.
